Addison Marshall, a 6th grade Clipper, has been playing hockey since the age of six and participates in the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite Girls Program. She had some amazing moments at the Hockey Hall of Fame Future Legends Showcase in Toronto last weekend. Her team made an unbelievable run through the playoffs, beating the #1 seed in the semifinals, and ultimately winning the cup in overtime. The girls were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as honorary members.
Future Legends is a one-of-a-kind showcase in partnership between the Hockey Hall of Fame, Play Hockey and Premier Ice Prospects. It is an individual-entry, invite-only event featuring the top twelve-year-old girls from around the world. Participants are "drafted" onto rosters to ensure that the event features both great competition and geographic diversity on each team. Players attending have an opportunity to play on teams with their peers from all over North America and Europe.
Keep up the great work, Addison!
