Eighth-grade students collaborated with third-grade students to create a story and illustration of a "Misfit Toy" that contributes to the magic of Christmas!
The project begins with third graders drawing their ideas for a Misfit Toy and writing a description of their toy. Then, their eighth-grade counterparts create a final illustration and construct a story of triumph for the Misfit Toy. The lesson culminates with the students reading their stories to each other!
