Prom Update:
As we look forward to Friday’s CHS Prom, our tentative plan is to hold Grand March outside at the Vineyards, students arriving at 5:30, with the event starting at 6:00. A final decision, based on weather, will be made Friday morning. If rain is still in the forecast, Grand March will be held in the CHS gym, with more information to follow.

CHS Students and Families: End of Course Testing will begin on Monday, April 7. Testing will be on the following days: ELA 2 - April 7th and 8th , Biology - April 10th, American History-April 14th, Government - April 15, Algebra - April 23, Geometry - April 24th. Please encourage your child to get plenty of sleep the night before and eat a healthy breakfast. All students need to bring their charged Chromebooks and chargers. CHS Prom Ticket Sales Ending Tomorrow:
Prom ticket sales will END tomorrow. See Mrs. Weinstock to purchase your tickets tomorrow if you haven't done so already, as we need to submit a count to the Vineyards. Thank you!
Prom will be held Friday, April 25 at the Vineyards at Pine Lake. Tickets are $60 ea. The parent-sponsored After Prom will be held at Kalahari Water Park on Saturday, April 26. Tickets for this event are $40 each. Fill My 2025 donation forms are available to help offset the cost of after prom. Please see the following attachments for more information.

CCCTC Students :
All CCCTC students, whether attending prom or not, will attend the Safety event this coming Friday at Kent, Salem. Students will depart from Columbiana High School at 8:30 AM on school transportation. They will be transported to the CCCTC after the prom event and then back to CHS at the end of the day. Congratulations to our 2025 Columbiana County Honor Choir participants. these students practiced this past Friday and Saturday at East Liverpool High School and performed for family and friends Saturday afternoon.
Participants from CHS selected via audition included: Maiya Waller, Jocelyn Aikens, Reagan Boley, Jordyn Dickey, Renee Call, Kierra Rhodes, Charlee DeVan, Savannah Howard and J.J. Tollas.
Congratulations to the JV Columbiana Quizbowl team on a great 2024-25 season. The JV Team finished as the JV Regional Tournament Champions. The team members rostered for this event were Charles Baglama, Chase Dugas, Malkyiah Grant and Allyson Humberson. The JV team went undefeated (12 - 0) in their division taking 1st place for the season. Congratulations and great job!!
The 2024-25 Varsity Quizbowl Team placed 3rd out of 24 teams. The team members for this event were William Bucci, Katie Campbell, Connor Dattilio, Charlie DeVan, Andrew Eusebio, Connor McCusker, Eric Nelson and Summer Sinsley.
Summer Sinsley was awarded a certificate and plaque for All League 1st Team and a certificate for being a Centurion (scoring 100 points or more in a single game).
Connor Dattilio was named and received a certificate for JV All-Star.
Eric Nelson was named and received a certificate for JV All-Star, a certificate for being the 2025 Mahoning JV High Scorer, and a certificate for Centurion (scoring 100 points or more in a single game)

Congratulations to Mr. Jeff Jackson for being named "Educator of the Year" by the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Jackson will be recognized in the the 72nd Harvey Awards Program on April 4th. Also being recognized are former students: Rebecca Clark - Young Citizen of the Year and Jake Ward - Outstanding Community Service. Three outstanding Clippers that demonstrate why Columbiana Schools are "The Place to Be!" Great Job!!
