The junior high track team completed their season last night with the EOAC Championship Meet.
The following athletes won their events:
1600 run: Preston Buckingham
Discus: Donovan Waselich
100 Hurdles: Gabby Spooner- setting the meet record at 17.8 seconds
Girls 4x1 relay team of: Ellie Jackson, Ella Dota, Gabby Spooner and Danica Halas
Girls 4x2 relay team of: Ellie Jackson, Ella Dota, Haylee Smith and Danielle Palagi
800 Run: Rylie Hall
200 Dash: Ellie Jackson
Girls 4x4 relay team of: Rylie Hall, Haylee Smith, Ava Heinrich and Danielle Palagi
Discus: Nina Jester
Shot Put: Emily Reash
And Long Jump: Gabby Spooner
High Points Award for Field Events went to Emily Reash for winning shot put and placing second in discus.
The boys team standings brought them in with a second place finish overall while the girls brought home the EOAC league championship trophy!
We would also like to recognize and wish Donovan Waselich the best of luck as he heads to Columbus this weekend to compete in the Junior High State Track Meet in the Boys Discus! Good Luck Donovan!
