Congratulations to Paige Lawton and Katie Campbell who both recently qualified to participate in the National Speech and Debate Tournament, being held Phoenix, Arizona this June! Way to go girls!

Eight CHS student's artworks will be part of the ESCEO Art Show. Freshmen: Katie Campbell, Maci Dailey, Madelyn Huber, Paige Kelly, and Sophomore: Nora Ineman. The show will take place next Thursday, May 4 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the ESCEO. The show will be an open house format where visitors and participants can view the artwork at their leisure. There will be no formal awards program on the evening of the show.

Transportation: Bus 6 is delayed due to a train. This may impact other bus routes. Please be patient. Bus 6 is behind picking up students. Other busses may also be delayed.

State of Ohio Superintendent of Public Instruction, Dr. Stephanie Siddens, came to visit Columbiana High School's Entrepreneurial Class. Superintendent Siddens, State Board of Education Member Mark Lamoncha, State of Ohio Representative Monica Blasdale, Columbiana City Manager, Columbiana Mayor and City Council members came to see a public - private partnership driven by Columbiana Students. The students and their teacher, Mrs. Trisha Missos, will travel to Carnegie PA. to interact with the city to demonstrate the power of student projects when partnered with government and the private sector. CHS & CMS Transportation Update: This afternoon, students who normally ride Bus #9 will ride home on Bus #6. Students who normally ride Bus #6 will ride home on Bus #1. Thank you!

CHS Students and Families: End of Course Testing has started for the 22-23 School Year. Testing will be on the following days: ELA 2 -- April 12th and 13th (April 14 make-up) Algebra 1 -- April 21st (April 26 make-up) Geometry -- April 24 (April 26 make-up) Biology -- April 25 (April 26 make-up) American History and American Government -- April 27th April 28th -- Make-Up Testing for Math, Science, and Social Studies. CHS Prom Ticket Reminder: Tickets for the 2023 Secret Garden prom on Friday, April 21 are still on sale. Tickets can be purchased before and after school or during lunches. Congratulations to Delaney Finsley! Delaney received the $1,000 Lester Marrison Book Grant Award from Doug Stuart, Northeast Region President of the Ohio School Board Association at the Wayne County Schools Career Center. Delaney was one of three recipients of this grant from the region.

Congratulations to Aide Bowyer, Mia Strohecker, Yesenia Pantoja, and Chase Tomalka for their outstanding Youth Service awards for 2023. The Columbiana Rotary has recognized Aiden Bowyer as the 2023 Heroes and Halos outstanding member of the year, Mia Strohecker as the 2023 Columbiana Area outstanding Interact student of the year, Yesenia Pantoja as the 2023 Columbiana Area Girls Scout of the year and chase Tomalka as the 2023 Columbiana Area Boy Scout of the year. Each of these Clipper students should be commended for their outstanding service to the greater Columbiana community!

Columbiana High Schools Performance of Beauty and the Beast TICKETING UPDATE: Pre-sale tickets close at 5:00 PM tonight and 12:00 PM Sunday. If you purchased presale, we suggest that you have your ticket ready to scan from your mobile device. If you chose to print your ticket, please be sure that your ticket is in color. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 Doors with open to the auditorium at 6:30 PM Thank you for your support of Columbiana High Schools Production of Beauty and the Beast.

The Columbiana Exempted School District will be on a two hour delay for Tuesday, March 14. All classes , transportation. All starting times will be two hours later than the regularly scheduled time. Thank you.
