CHS Band performing at the Street Fair Parade!
District Pep Rally (CHS):
Our District Pep Rally will take place this coming Friday afternoon at Firestone Park.
Half-Day juniors will attend CCCTC and return to CHS as normal. Half-Day Seniors will attend normal classes in the morning and remain at CHS until the event. Full-Day CCCTC students attending the event will need to return to CHS on the mid-day bus. There will be no afternoon bus transporting students back from CCCTC. Students planning to remain at the CCCTC will need to provide their own transportation back at the end of the day.
CHS students who have not turned in their permission slip by the end of the day on Thursday will not be permitted to attend. Please follow the link to the permission slip below, if needed.

CHS Picture Day Information:
Tomorrow is picture day at CHS! There will be two options to access pictures once they are processed:
1. Emails will be sent to parents with instructions.
2. Students will be given a QR code to scan .
There are no photo packets coming home with your student prior to picture day.
Full-Day CCCTC students will have pictures taken at the CCCTC. Half-Day CCCTC students will have pictures taken tomorrow at CHS (Seniors in the morning before leaving, Juniors upon returning at 11:10).
As a reminder, all Seniors will still have their school picture taken tomorrow.
Lastly, picture retake day is the afternoon of Thursday, Sept. 12.

Columbiana Athletic Hall of Fame Tickets:
Tickets are on sale for the Columbiana Athletic Hall of Fame Induction dinner to be held on September 21. Please call Erin Heasley at 330-482-3818 x34406 to purchase tickets. Adults ($25), Children 6-12 ($15), 5 and under (free). No tickets will be available at the door. Deadline to purchase tickets is Sept. 11. We hope to see you there!
CHS Athletic Update:
The dedication of Fisher Stadium will take place tomorrow evening at 6:00PM prior to kickoff at 7:00PM.
The student section will be in the lower portion of the bleachers, nearest the concession stand, with the CHS Band in the top section, nearest the concession stand. We hope to see you at Fisher Stadium tomorrow evening, cheering on the Clips!

Attn Freshman and Freshman parents: The class of 2028 pepperoni roll fundraiser ends Tuesday, September 3rd. Please have all orders submitted to Ms. Sant or Mrs. Tirpak on Tuesday, Sept 3. Rolls are from Mary's Pizza in Lisbon and are $6 each. Proceeds will benefit the Class of 2028 Junior-Senior Prom to be held Spring 2027.

Tonight's Varsity Girls soccer game vs. Champion has been postponed. The game has been moved to Wednesday, Sept. 11, starting at 6:00PM. Thank you!

CHS Back To School Update:
With the first day of school tomorrow, please be reminded that doors open at 7:10AM with the tardy bell ringing at 7:45AM. Bus riders, walkers, and student drivers enter through front doors. Parent drop-offs enter through the band room doors in the back of the building. We look forward to a wonderful school year! Go Clippers!
CHS Senior Sign Delivery Today:
This afternoon between 1:45 and 3:00, groups of CHS staff members will be delivering yard signs to the homes of our seniors. If students are home and would like a picture with their sign and teachers, we would welcome that. If not, the sign will be placed in your yard. If you prefer the sign not be placed in the yard, please call the CHS office before 1:30PM to let us know. Thank you!
CHS Schedule and Chromebook Pickup:
Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors - Please visit us tomorrow (Friday) between the hours of 9AM and 3PM with your completed Chromebook paperwork (device form and AUP) to receive your Chromebook and finalized schedule. This will help to ensure a smooth start to the school year.
We look forward to seeing Freshmen and new students tonight at orientation (begins at 6:00 with doors opening at 5:30)!
CHS Orientation and Supply Lists:
As everyone is hopefully enjoying the summer weekend, we look forward to the week ahead at CHS! Freshman/New Student Orientation will take place Thursday, Aug. 15, beginning at 6PM in the auditorium. Doors (gym and front) will open at 5:30 to help with schedule and Chromebook distribution. A letter will be arriving this week in the mail which includes paperwork to complete before bringing to orientation.

CHS Athletic Update:
Congrats to our Lady Clipper Golfers! A new 18 hole scoring record was set today (355)! Ellie Jackson 86, Maddie Jackson 87, Claire Banner and Hailey Muntean 91, and Hannah Moffett 97. Third place out of 13 teams. Well done!
Congratulations to Maddie Jackson with a HOLE IN ONE in today's golf match at Valley GC on Hole #2! The Clips earned the victory in the tri-match with Poland and Edison.
ELIZABETH SIEMBIDA'S GOLD AWARD PROJECT WILL PROVIDE A GAGA BALL PIT TO THE CMS PLAYGROUND. Please consider supporting her fundraising effort.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of Coach Larry Baughman. Larry was more than just a coach and Assistant Athletic Director; he was a dedicated Clipper supporter whose passion and commitment have left an indelible mark on the community.
Larry's contributions extended far beyond the field and gym. His guidance, mentorship and unwavering support for our students embodied the true spirit of the Clipper Family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Larry's family during this difficult time. We will keep you informed about any memorial services or events to honor his memory.
