CHS AP Exams:
AP Exam Week 1 starts on Monday May 6th. The testing schedule includes: AP Government Monday May 6th (Testing to begin at 8am), AP Literature and Composition Wednesday May 8th (Testing to begin at 8am) and AP Computer Science A Wednesday May 8th (Testing to begin at 12pm).
AP Exam Week 2 starts on Monday May 13th. The testing schedule includes: AP Calculus AB/BC Monday May 13th (Testing to begin at 8am), AP Pre-Calculus Monday May 13th (Testing to begin at 12pm) and AP Language and Composition Tuesday May 14th (Testing to begin at 8am).
Students taking AP Exams in the morning (8AM) will be excused following testing with a parent note and students taking AP Exams in the afternoon (12PM) are permitted to arrive at school by 11:45am with a parent note.

CHS “Hangar” Open for Service:
Through the thoughtful efforts of Bekah Clark, the “CHS Hangar” is up and running! The Hangar, located in the Cafe, offers a free selection of school supplies, personal hygiene products, clothing items, and formal dresses for prom and homecoming. Additional items are being added and are available for anyone interested. There is also a donation bin for those wishing to contribute items to this service. Students wishing to visit The Hangar should see Mrs. Ulam, Mrs. Webb, Mrs. Cleghorn, Mr. Cyrus, or Mr. Jackson. Thank you, Bekah!

CHS Prom Tickets:
The 2024 Prom will be Tangled Up in Our Memories, to be held at The Barn at Firestone Farms on May 10. Tickets are $50 each and go on sale Monday, April 15. The last day to purchase tickets will be Wednesday, April 24. The after prom will be held on Saturday, May 11 at Kennywood. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased with prom tickets. All guest forms must be turned in by April 24. Please contact Miss Nord or Mrs. Ferguson with any questions. Thank you!

CHS Mock Prom Crash Field Trip (Juniors and Seniors):
Next Friday, April 12, Juniors and Seniors will be attending the Ohio State Highway Patrol Mock Prom Crash event to be held at the Columbiana County Fairgrounds. CCCTC students will be excused from CCCTC for the day in order to attend this event. An informational letter/permission slip will be arriving in the mail along with your child's report card in the next few days. Please watch for these things in the mail. Questions may be directed to the high school office. Thank you!

CHS April 8 Early-Release Reminder:
On April 8, CHS students will be released at 12:45, two hours early, due to the solar eclipse. Full-Day CCCTC students are excused for the day. Half-day seniors will be dismissed from CHS at 9:26 (end of third period) to go home. Half-day juniors should report to CHS by 10:00AM (to begin 5th period). If transportation cannot be provided to or from CHS, half-day CCCTC students may utilize school transportation and report to CHS at the normal time in the morning and stay for the duration of the school day.
